My happy place.

I have spent years creating an inviting, usable and calming space to photograph your new baby & family. Knowing that you feel comfortable here is just as important as knowing you love your images.

The vibe

I think it is important to set the vibe or the tone so to speak for your shoot. Relaxed, timeless and warm are all vibes I want to be sending. I have styled my studio with all of this in mind. Even the sitting area and baby change table has styled beautifully despite it not being photographed. All my furniture pieces have been hand selected as one of a kind pieces which are usually vintage such as old buffets, detailed cane chairs and a locally custom made wooden bench.

Relax

There is a space to sit comfortably and watch whilst your baby is being photographed. I think it is incredibly important for parents, especially Mum to relax from a little distance, not too far! But at least 1-2 metres so that baby is calm and cannot smell milk. This allows me to get through the photos efficiently and with minimal fuss. Don’t worry, you are always with me and will see baby at all times.

everything you need

A huge part of what I do is wanting to ensure the process is as simple as possible for everyone. Getting family photos shouldn’t feel like a mission, stressful or something that is thrown into the ‘too hard basket’. It really should be simple.

With that in mind I have everything you need. Wipes, nappies, change table, breast pads, pads, all outfits/wraps for bub or dresses for Mum! I have even started broadening my selections for Dad’s and older siblings with some emergency options.

If your session approaches and you forget to get something for your 2 year old etc and are simply to deep in the newborn haze to hit the shops, just email me. I can send you photos of what options I have or maybe I can run to the shops and find something suitable for you!
